- After getting admitted here my thinking has changed as college life here is that engaging.
- I have learned so many skills here as MUNs require hard core debating skills and I have learned it all here.
- I live in hostels and still can say that my physical and mental health were always in best stead while living 5 years in hostels.
Dislikes
- Canteens are plenty but all very expensive and they should be made reasonable for students.
- Sometimes at night it's hard to find commuting close to the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Main thing which made me chose this course is that management and law both were my dream. With BBA LLB, I got to learn both as if it was BA LLB i would have opted a normal BBA instead. So, I am happy to be doing this course and now it's finished in a way as final semester will have just 2 subjects and soon from Geeta Jhamb, i will become Advocate Geeta Jhamb.
Placement Experience
No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Galgotias University is one of the best private university of Greater Noida and it offers both BA LLB and BBA LLB. The fees is little over 2 lakhs and it was higher in the first year as there were several charges and came down from 2nd year. Now I'm final due to less subjects, we also have lesser exam fees as well.
Campus Life
5, five floor buildings with elevators and top classrooms and labs. IOS labs installed and therefore every student can get the feel of Apple PCs as everyone can't afford that but if you enroll at Galgotias University. Sports facilities are excellent and to promote that our university hosts a sports fest called Arogya Ran and an annual cultural fest named UNIFEST.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good and fees is also not that a deal because for an AC room on 2 students sharing basis it cost a student around 1.5 lakhs. Also, Non-Ac rooms are available and that cost 1.2 lakhs a year which also includes the charges for Mess.
Admission
I tried at various universities of Greater Noida Knowledge Campus. Finally agreement happened with Galgotias as Lloyd Law College hostels are pathetic and majority of its students stay apart from the hostels. My parents wanted the same campus hostel thing as they made this clear to me and therefore Galgotia became an automatic choice.
Faculty
Galgotias University conducts various exams throughout the year as class test, projects, surprise test and all are inclusive internals. Even faculties monitors our intenrships too and gives added marks in internals for that as well. So, scoring becomes easy as faculties are friendly and solve each of our problems with heart.
Night Life
Our college location is best as right outside the main gate of the university we have nearly 20 street food options. If one wants brand then Venice Mall is also not far and one can have all the branded food outlets be it Burger King or Dominos.
