Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) also popular as Agra University is a government University established in 1927. DBRAU is recognized by the UGC and is accredited ‘B++’ grade by NAAC. The University has 15 residential institutes spread out over its four residential campuses: Paliwal Park, Khandari Campus, Civil Lines Campus, and Chhaleshar Campus. DBRAU now caters to the educational needs of the 7 districts of Agra Division which includes Agra, Aligarh, Mainpuri, Hathras, Firozabad, Etah, and Mathura. The university aims to collaborate with top global institutes, develop new laboratories, and establish a faculty-student ratio of 1:10 by 2033. Currently, around 200 colleges are affiliated with DBRAU with more than 21 million enrollments to date.

DBRAU offers a variety of courses at UG, PG, and Doctoral levels in the disciplines of Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Pharmacy, Education, etc. Admissions to DBRAU UG and PG courses are based on merit of the qualifying exam. However, the university also accepts scores of national-level entrance exams like CUET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, JEE Main, NEET, etc. for admission to several courses. Alongside, the university offers admission to Ph.D. and M.Phil courses based on a Written Test and interview scores.

DBRAU Placement 2024 report will be released soon. However, as per NIRF 2024 report, the median package for the 3-year UG program and 2-year PG program stood at INR 1.8 LPA and 6 LPA. Moreover, the top recruiters included Infosys, Tata Motors, Sonalika, Wipro, Tech, HCL, B.H.E.L, and I.T.C.

Dr. BR Ambedkar University admissions are conducted in both modes, online and offline. Candidates seeking online admissions can apply on the official website of the university, @dbrau.ac.in. Whereas, those who want to apply offline can collect their application forms from the university campus. DBRAU offers UG, PG, and Doctoral level courses in the disciplines of Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Pharmacy, etc.

Admissions to DBRAU courses are based on merit in the qualifying exam. However, the university also accepts scores of CUET UG, CUET PG, CAT, MAT, CMAT, JEE Main, NEET, etc. for admission to most of its UG and PG courses. DBRAU Result

DBRAU result for end-semester exams are declared a month after the exams are successfully over. Students who have passed the examination will be promoted to the next semester. Those who are unable to clear their examination will have to reappear for the examination. Students can check their DBRAU Results by entering their Roll Numbers. The following steps can be followed to check the DBRAU result:

Visit the official website of the DBRAU.
Scroll down and click on the ‘Results’ section.
Select from the categories of Main Examination, Semester Examination, Medical Examination, and Scrutiny Result.
On the next page, enter your Registration Number and click on Submit.
Your DBRAU result will be displayed on the screen.

DBRAU Placements

DBRAU has a placement cell that was established in 2022 to guide the students of arts, commerce, management, science, and social sciences with all the skills necessary for achieving success in their careers. The placement cell undertakes on-campus interview programs, and off-campus interview programs, and job fairs. Leading recruiters like Dr Reddy's Laboratories and Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive Manufacturer Pvt. Ltd. have conducted a placement drive on the university campus.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University has a large Campus of about 14 Acres. The campus is good enough to explore the greenery and freshness. The university is rapidly expanding as a hub for cutting-edge research, higher-level scientific education, and vocational training. DBRAU Campus is further developing to advance education and establish itself as an international and national hub of excellence. Following are the facilities offered at DBRAU Campus.

Medical Facilities: The medical facility is available on the DBRAU campus for ensuring the safety of students. The University offers 24/7 medical assistance to students.
Hostels: There is also hostel accommodation for the students on the DBRAU campus. A common room is also provided in the DBRAU hostel that has a television for entertainment and leisure time. They have hostels for both boys and girls. Along with that, it has a mess facility for food.
Sports: Sports campus for Outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc, and indoor space for games like chess is an essential part of the DBRAU Campus.
Library: DBRAU Campus is home to the central library where students can come and study in peace. The library contains a collection of 1,67,800 volumes as a four-story structure with 1,40,000 books, 14000 doctoral dissertations, and 12000 bound books. Back issues of magazines. In addition, there are 4500 e-journals with full text/abstract form from seven well-known publishers such as SpringerLink, Economic & Political Weekly, IOP, Oxford University Press, Taylor & Francis, ISID, JCCC available at the library under UGC's INFONET program.
Wifi Facility: They have a wifi facility on the DBRAU campus which is nowadays a basic necessity for working. Students have access to Wifi throughout the campus and at hostels as well.
Laboratories: Modern labs for practical and research purposes that can enhance and boost learning power are a part of the DBRAU Campus. The laboratories allow students to conduct experiments and gain practical knowledge for their particular courses.

Student view on course curriculum

The course have political science and i like to study this course. Our curriculum is based on environmental studies and it makes us aware about our environment. Our exam limit is 2 hours and I think its enough time for omrs

Yearly fees and scholarship provide by the college

I paid 3000+ rupees fees every year and will be paying the same amount next year too, In my college we don't have to pay tution fees its free of cost. My bachmates who are from general category pays 4000+ rupees for the same course, Scholarships are also available in our university and college we get 5000 rupees for scholarship.

College fest and various activities

We celebrate every festival in our college like holi, diwali, yoga day, republic day, Independence day etc. There are so many books in our library. The facilities and technology is not so good and our college supports many sports activities like football, cricket, vollyball etc.

Student views on the faculty and exams

The faculties in our college is very kind and helpful they are easy to approach I really like our principal Dr. Praveen Agarwal because they listen to college student's problems and no there's no professor that I dislikes. There are totally 6 exams many students fail their exams. our curriculum course is actually base on environmental studies.

Admission process of the college

I didn't applied for any other colleges and I choose this college because it is affordable and near the place I live. I didn't get rejected from any colleges. Because this is a government college there is no exam for addmission. The admissions are merit based from grade 12th marks.

Nightlife and nearby places

There are many cafés near our college for hangouts there are also street food stalls near our college our campus timing is from 7am to 3pm. The locality is safe to roam around at night cuz its a crowded area which is also active at night

I chose AU because of its reputation as a central university, affordable fee structure and has experienced faculty, although the infrastructure in private colleges is often more modern I did not face any rejection The admission procedure was smooth and entirely merit-based

Parking facility is also available in collage.
Watchmen are also available for security.
College Campus is very big and filled with tress providing fresh air.

Dislikes

Traffic outside the college campus is very high.
Not that much problems in the college campus.
Water must be clean for drinking purpose.

Admission:

The admission process is very simple, first thing is web registration according to your last education then list will be sanctioned in the college according to the merit and once you are in the merit system then you can take the admission.

i liked the cocurrilor accivities in college which help me to make me more confidence and successfull.

Dislikes

i do not like the surrounding of college which is not cleaned and properly settled.
i do not like the seating system and rooms in college which are not cleaned and not in proper arrangments

i chose this college because all course of this college is amazing . as compared to all colleges this college is diffrent in studied or in fess strcture as well . fees of bcom of this college is too minimum as compared to other college with all facility and full success .

The fee for the BSc course is INR 6,000–12,000 per semester, depending on specialization. You must have done 10+2 from a recognized board in the science stream with 50% marks from a recognized board. Admissions are based on the CUET UG scores.
