About DBRAU
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) also popular as Agra University is a government University established in 1927. DBRAU is recognized by the UGC and is accredited ‘B++’ grade by NAAC. The University has 15 residential institutes spread out over its four residential campuses: Paliwal Park, Khandari Campus, Civil Lines Campus, and Chhaleshar Campus. DBRAU now caters to the educational needs of the 7 districts of Agra Division which includes Agra, Aligarh, Mainpuri, Hathras, Firozabad, Etah, and Mathura. The university aims to collaborate with top global institutes, develop new laboratories, and establish a faculty-student ratio of 1:10 by 2033. Currently, around 200 colleges are affiliated with DBRAU with more than 21 million enrollments to date.
DBRAU offers a variety of courses at UG, PG, and Doctoral levels in the disciplines of Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Pharmacy, Education, etc. Admissions to DBRAU UG and PG courses are based on merit of the qualifying exam. DBRAU Result
DBRAU result for end-semester exams are declared a month after the exams are successfully over. Students who have passed the examination will be promoted to the next semester. Those who are unable to clear their examination will have to reappear for the examination. Students can check their DBRAU Results by entering their Roll Numbers. The following steps can be followed to check the DBRAU result:
- Visit the official website of the DBRAU.
- Scroll down and click on the ‘Results’ section.
- Select from the categories of Main Examination, Semester Examination, Medical Examination, and Scrutiny Result.
- On the next page, enter your Registration Number and click on Submit.

DBRAU has a placement cell that was established in 2022 to guide the students of arts, commerce, management, science, and social sciences with all the skills necessary for achieving success in their careers. - Medical Facilities: The medical facility is available on the DBRAU campus for ensuring the safety of students. The University offers 24/7 medical assistance to students.

I chose this college over others as there was no much option for me as these colleges are given on the basis of marks occupied in the Neet ug examination. But I would prefer this college over others as this is very nice having a very big campus and good environment management is also very good and helps during the admission process. I have also applied to the Career institute Lucknow and integral college Lucknow but due to some low marks, I couldn't get those which I truly say are not mine. This year that is in Neet ug 2024 cutoff gets very high and in the minority category cutoff goes up in every college.

I got selected in all 3 colleges but chose St. John's College due to its repute all over the city. St. John's College ranks number one among the colleges in Agra which was enough for me to go for this college. I did not get rejection from any college, in fact I got selected in all three based merely on my merit. The admission process in my college is very easy. You simple fill out the application form on their web portal filling in all the required details. Then you wait for the college to release merit lists. If your name appears in any of the lists you are called to the college for documents verification and admission purposes. The cut-off in my college is 80% for General, 75% for OBC, 70% for SC and 65% for ST.

- Also my classmates are good they are friendly.
Dislikes
- I don't like the management of the college
- Also the hostel is not good and they take lot of fees.

I didn't apply any colleges before. This was my first college to apply and I chose this course. No I didn't get rejection from another college but the thing is I never applied to other colleges because after neet my motive was clear to choose this college . I got my councelling done in Lucknow and after 3 months I joined the college.and found it good

- Many times classes are not held on time.
- Most of the students are from tier 3 areas.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University offers the MSc in Food technology. A candidate who has passed (with at least 50% marks ) Bachelor of Home Science (T.D.C.)Examination of the University or an examination of any other University as equivalent thereto may be admitted to the first Semester of Master of Home Science. Admission will be made on the basis of Written Entrance Test/Academic record.
