Remarks

DHWU has given me the best experience. All staff is so supportive. The college environment is so energetic and fresh. My classmates were also amazing. In a really cheap fee college gave us so many faculties. Support every student in need. I am happy that I joined DHWU.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is designed very unique and easy to understand is a very insightful master degree. Student select there specialize subject for the same. The course is mainly cover the study of that subject from basics to all excellence. Students study using reference books for a better understanding of subjects.

DHWU is great university . College have job opportunities too. College gives students all support and information they need. Also student who excellence in their academics easily approached by companies for jobs. Students can easily apply for jobs and internship programs after completing their studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In DHWU all courses are very in the reliable fee. Compare to the other colleges DWU is very asap and most of the student can complete their studies easily. Master degree course is of 2 year. The student has to deposit fee every semester. Even in this low fee structure college provide a high level of teaching to students. The college focuses on teaching most of the students who are financially weak.

Campus Life

College arranges various programs for student extracurricular activities. College arranges blood donation camps , social awareness programs, women empowerment programs , culture programs , sports competitions, quiz competitions etc. Seminars by renown personalities for motivation and inspiration.

Hostel Facilities

College provides very good hostel facility. Hostel have comfortable rooms. With purifier for drinking water . All time water and electricity supply. Washrooms always kept clean . There is dining hall , study hall ,computers and etc. Mess is also available at hostel . Food quality is good and they take care of all hygiene measures while cooking and serving.

Admission

DHWU is best college arts college. After completing my degree I applied for master degree. Admission process is online. A student with 45 % s All-time to apply. With application form one have submitted all details require ed. After application set s are given as per the mess. Admission process the needs to submit all required documents in college.

Faculty

College has appointed the best tutors. All faculty teachers are so experienced and knowledgeable. They complete every class with ease. Student feel so free they ask choirs while studying and teachers provide them exact resolutions with great patience. This free environment makes a lot easier for students to study.

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.
