Entrance Preview

IIT JEE, I wanted to pursue engineering so I gave this exam. The admission process was simple and I got a good rank in JEE so I chose IIT Bombay.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was quite tough. But with good studies anyone can crack the exam I will be a rich person so I gave the exam. Everyone who wants to be rich gets to IIT because we get a good salary if we get a good job.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is very easy to do and you can earn a lot of money. You will earn a lot of money the timings are also easy to cope up with. nothing more to say you can enjoy your life.

Placement Experience

The college has excellent placements and it will be easy to get a good job if u are in this college. The MNC which come are huge and have excellent packages to offer.

College Events

The college event is mood indigo it is a big event and everyone around the city comes here the big bands of the country come here, rest u can understand on your own.

Campus Life

The extra activities are very good and they help us a lot to free our stress the sports are also very good the campus is very big and it has a lot of activities so it is very nice.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni give a lot of donations to the college and they help us to be better people. In the future if I will be alumni I will also give a lot of donations as whatever I will earn will be because of IIT.

Exam Structure

The term is of 5 months rest 7 months holiday and enjoyment. There are 5 units that are very hard and not at all easy to crack.

Faculty

The faculty are very knowledgeable and educated they are also very helpful and we enjoy their company. They don't want to teach us they just want to earn money so that they can live a lavish life.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
