Placement offers are given to each and every student in their last year. Many government research authorities is in the contact of our college regarding the Placement and internships Internships are very necessary for developing an idea of field work.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our various funds are raised by the government and this makes our fees very much affordable for any student. We get to pay on annual basis an amount of 8850. In every college PhD comes with a very big amount of fee but here you'll never face any fee related issues

Campus Life

All our extracurricular activities are some or in other way related to social awareness and cause. We have fund raising events to raise money for various social problems also we have formed an eco club which deals against the degradation of environment

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of here are very well connected with the authority. Some of them even take out time from their busy schedule and take part in several events. All my seniors are really very helpful and we perform several activities together as one team

Admission

For getting admission IIHR you need to do real hard work. Their entrance exam is very difficult to qualify. After getting shortlisted here a committee of three person took an interview of the students, passing this I took admission in the college.

Faculty

The faculty members are very active and yet doing their share of work in the field of horticulture science. Few of them are so famous in their subject of specialisation that their research work and paper are used in different colleges for teaching students.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.
