Entrance Preview
I took Karnataka CET entrance exam and scored 12000 rank. I am very passionate about the computer and the coding languages. So I choose computer science and engineering from "visvesvaraya technological university".
Course Curriculum Overview
Course had 8 semesters as every year 2 semesters, total 4 years. 8 subjects every semester including 2 labs. every end of the semester Exam conducted. I have to pass all the subjects to move to the next semester.
Internships Opportunities
For Final year I got an opportunity to work on project as a intern in Arcus infotech. I aware the theory knowledge of the subjects but actual partical knowledge came to know while working on the project which gave me to do in internship. Stipend offered was 10k per month.
Placement Experience
Placement was awesome in my college. My college HRD department was actually very good and they trained us before the placements were started hiring us. So it helped us a lot and got confidence to attend the companies placements entrance exam. There were three rounds of interview and I cracked in one interview and got a job before my engineering degree completion.
College Events
Events- we had a cricket tournament every year with in the internal college. Every other course has to participate in that tournament. Annual festival celebration every year with all the computations. Prize will be distributed fro every winner in computations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I got a seat from Karnataka common entrance exam and my fee structure is 17000 INR for CET fee and 4500/- INR as college fee. It has included for 2 semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, no good scholarship offered by college and loan facility offered by my college that I know of or availed.
Campus Life
Campus life - College campus was awesome, it had all the facilities which required for students. All playgrounds, cricket ground, basket ball, table tennis, badminton etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was good and provided all the facilities which student required for his study. Mess was awesome, they had to cook different varieties for everyday and with a yummy taste.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network was wonderful and no negative on them because they were very supportive in every matter till the end of my degree .Senior students have help us to know the process of the engineering and they provided a lot of knowledge while working on projects.
Exam Structure
Total 4 years, 8 subjects every semester including 2 labs. every end of the semester Exam need to pass to promote to next semester. there will internal for every subject and that is for 25 marks.External will be for 100 marks for every subject.
Faculty
About Faculty, Faculty were there for every subjects, they had extreme knowledge on the subjects. They has to provide us detailed knowledge on every topic of the syllabus. That help me a lot to understanding the concepts of all the subjects. They are very good faculty which I have a got chance to learn with them.
