Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum includes food nutrition and analysis, community healthcare and nutrition, food microbiology and production industry etc. The final exams are conducted at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are fairly good. We are given exposure to healthcare and nutrition industry and every year some companies visit the campus to select students for jobs. The college itself provided internships with stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible in our college. The fee amount can easily be afforded by everyone easily. The college as good amenities, a focus on research and good industry exposure to back up the fee amount.

Campus Life

There are many seminars and conferences that are conducted in our college. This provides us good experience. We also celebrate cultural festivals in our college frequently along with national festivals and other events.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are in good condition. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are spacious and clean. The mess food is also very hygienic and good. The hostel has a peaceful and safe environment.

Admission

To get admission in this college I had to appear for an entrance test WBPGANAT that is conducted by the West bengal University. After this I was selected based on merit and personal interview conducted by the college.

Faculty

The faculty of our college is very qualified and experienced in their jobs. The lecturers have a wide knowledge in the field of nutrition and encourage us to analyse and work harder. They are also very supportive.

A Peaceful, Culturally Rich Journey at Visva-Bharati University

Placement Experience:

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Generally all the subjects excluding few rare subjects are available here. I choose this course because of my future planning. I can go for research with help of this. And I loved the course's study material and syllabus. The faculty is very well. Many teachers are here. Minimum 5 teachers in one department. And all teachers are qualified. The teachers are very good knowledgeable. They are very punctual and teaches us very carefully. In every semester there is held two college's internal examination. And end of the semester there is held a final exam when we have to go to different exam center. And practical exams are held very nicely.
