Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for Nutrition involves physiology, food nutrition and microbiology, Food service and Technology, Food Service Management, Research methodology and food quality analysis. The labs are focused on research.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities that we are provided with are quite good. We are given good exposure to food and nutrition industry by the usual seminars and hospital visits. We also get internship from college with a good amount of stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty feasible. The college has a good status and has been one of the best institutions in the state. Hence it has a good recognition associated with it. But the fee is still affordable by anyone easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

There aren't any scholarships that are provided b the college but there are government issued scholarships that students can apply for and avail easily. Students can also opt for educational loans from their personal banks.

Campus Life

The campus has a good amount of extracurricular activities. We have several seminars and conferences conducted throughout the year. We also celebrate many cultural events and teachers day, youth day etc also.

Admission

To get admission in this college I had to write an entrance test that is conducted by the West Bengal University- WBPGANAT. Based on the performance in this test merit list is released and admissions are granted.

Faculty

The faculty of our college is very experienced in the field and nutrition and provide us with all the necessary information and knowledge of the field. They are also very accommodating and help us with all our queries.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
