Memorable experience

It is a 1-year diploma course and the course curriculum is not very difficult. I am enthusiastic about dietetics, so I was satisfied. Apart from that, I got all the exam information on the university website and there was no stress.

The students participated in professional work and received stipend, depending on the current provisions. At my time, I received 7,500/- per month. But when it comes to jobs, there are no college placements.

The fee structure is feasible and not at all high. Though the fees for each course is different. It keeps on changing from time-to-time. But when we talk about a diploma , the fees is not more than Rs.20,000 - Rs.24,000 for the entire course.

We have had continuous workshops and sessions on promotion of health and medicine in India. We have training sessions and health centers in Chetla and Singur for rural and urban people that helped us with our field practice.

The admission procedure was very simple.Since, this college is affiliated by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, the admission form was available there. I filled it then gave the exam that was conducted by AIIH&PH. I passed and got the seat! The only catch is that there are limited number of seats available.

The faculty had always guided and motivated me to strive for more. They taught every lesson with equal zeal and solved our doubts without feeling burdened. The best thing about the faculty of this college was that they treated us like friends more than students.
