Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is very extensive and detailed. Although it gets a little hectic during the exam times when we are trying to complete the course, but it is all good in the end. Exams are easy and well put.

The college doesn? provide any placements or job opportunities, neither do they provide any internship offers. Although students can engage in career counseling or workshops which are arranged by the faculty

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for BA in English for the first year is 1750 and for the total three years is 5250.....The fees is very feasible considering it is a distance education university.... and the teaching staff is also good

Campus Life

Students from all religions and castes are respected here. Everybody lives in Harmony and accepts each other irrespective of their sexual orientation or economic status. There are regular dorm parties held by the students

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very fun to be around and they are very passionate about their education. They also motivate us with our studies and with sports and other events of college related to sports and literature

Admission

I got admission after completing my 12th in Commerce. I applied for admission in BA and chose the English stream. There are many other streams to choose from, but for me English was the best. The admission can be done online.

Faculty

The faculty are very considerate and tend to our educational needs. They understand our concerns better than us and help us with assignments and examinations. Rahul Sir is the best with Indian Literature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
