Remarks

Kannur being one of the tourist attractions and in Kerala which is culturally rich state offers a very homely environment in terms of faculties, admin team. The faculty base is very highly educated and mostly female which shows gender diversity and empowers women of all races and financial background by treating them equally.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is relevant and up to the mark of any other School. It? a 3-year course divided in 6 semesters, with updated syllabus and more inclination towards the practical work. This gives the students most relevant knowledge regarding the future.

Placement Experience

Placement are not there in the institute, we are not given placement through any campus selection or another, we have to try and get job only by us and we have to try that. There is no internship facilities provided by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is very feasible since there are few other options for BBA in TTM based on which electives and if the student wants to have work credits included too then the fees varies, you can easily check on the college website for the current session.

Campus Life

There are no extracurricular activities as it is a distance school so we do not have regular college. Ratio of gender is 2:1 in respect of women Vs men. Sports facilities or other facilities are not available for the students.

Alumni/Alumna

As it is a distance education institute there is no alumni association and there are very rare instances that we get to meet any alumni or seniors. Only during PCP classes, we get to meet fee seniors who also come for their classes.

Admission

Kannur university offering BBA in Tour and Travel Management deemed appropriate. The admission is online through filling an online application and paying the fees through SBI account. You can refer the college website for application form.

There are various facilities and this change every year, they teach us during weekends classes and are allowed by the institute. They teach good, they teach both practical and theory to us. They are average as most are initial teachers

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
