Entrance exam conducted by Nirma university , GATE scorer gets priority I'm admission , Gate scorer also gets stipend.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is thorough technical , For Structural Engineering elective is tall structure and Foundation engineering , steel structure. They also offered practical courses along with equipped facilities.

Internships Opportunities

Half of the students gets internship in-house and rest of the students gets in local companies. The companies are VMS , Ducon ,Said India and MNC - L&T and Lindey .

Placement Experience

For M.TECH the placement is average. In case of M.TECH not as much companies are visiting as compare to B.TECH. Local companies hiring M.TECH students .

College Events

Events are of national levels. National Symposium have been organised which includes technical paper presentation , technical quiz competition etc. Non tech events like musical shows , rock concerts, dance competitions.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholar ship are sponsored by technical body for M.tech students who do research in their thesis. College submit their scope of work of thesis to government body. After reviewing few gets scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is fun loving. Gender ratio was aroung 70:30 iny time (male dominated) , sports grounds are very good, lab is very good with well maintained equipments.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very good and supportive. Alumni network is very good. We have alumni get to gether meeting in once every month. However it is very difficult to meet all of us due to hectic schedule and far away job posting.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very compact , Very strict about attendance , for every semester there will be two internal exams and one external exam.

Faculty

Faculties are very helpful. Most of the faculties are new, and some of them are experienced. They share good practical knowledge to students.Overall standerd is good though.

Placement Experience:

Student of last year is eligible for campus placements. Maruti Technolab, eInfochips, Crest Data System, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Simform, AllianceTek Inc, etc.. are some of the companies visited for placements. Highest package is of Amazon having 25 LPA and average package can be 4.5 LPA. &0% of student were getting placed. My plan is to get job in MNC company as AI engineer role.

My timing of exam is 3 hours my college faculty teaching method are very simple so we can understand so we write anything easily. Only basic mechanical engineering subject that I can't understand and I don't like it.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 1st sem itself.Companies like John deer ,Bajaj, Mahindra , Akash institute ,Unacademy (Ed tech platform) visited our campus for our branch.For Civil branch , L and T ,Linde,Midas e.t.c companies visited.For electrical and electronics ,HP,Intel,Microsoft e.t.c visited. Highest package offered was Rs 40 lpa. and average package is Rs 6 lpa.Mostly companies are offering role of PGET .Approximate 70% students got placement through campus.I got placed in Unacademy as a educator of NEET physics with a package of Rs 10 lpa.

Remarks:

The only thing good amidst the chaos is the management but yes they do lack time management. We are there for 10.5 hrs but we think that most of the time there are things that we can get done from home but yet we are made to sit there because attendance carries marks.

Reality of Nirma University

I gave my JEE Mains Exam in 2021 and i also appeared for various exams like VITEEE and BITSAT. I got selected in VIT Vellore under Computer Science domain. I also got selected in MIT WPU Pune under Electronics and Communication. The reason i chose this college is for its extensive infrastructure and placement records. I looked for Return of investment rather than how high the average placement is. Nirma also good at Education?? Or only at washing powder ??

My first choice is LD Engineering college, ahmedabad. LDCE is best for Mechanical, electrical students thats why I applied there but LDCE doesn't have much seats on JEE quota so I doesn't make it . Rather than LDCE I applied for PDEU and I Got ICT there but I Choose Nirma mechanical over PDEU ICT , because PDEU's culture is not good , Not much difference between placements of Nirma Mechanical and ICT of PDEU ....Read More
