Management is positive and co-operative. They are not rigid. They work for students. Many decision are taken which really not favouring the students.

Admission Committee for Professional courses(ACPC) conducts an entrance examination for the admission in M.E. program. I appeared in the examination and had 36 marks. I wanted to make my masters with machine design. At that time, this course was available with RK and BVM college(V.V.Nagar). As I benongs to Rajkot, I decided to go with RK.

Course curriculum was good but not the best. Subject like advanced machine design is not a part of syllabus. But surprisingly, this subject is offered with M.E.(CAD/CAM) but not with M.E.(Machine Design). But now the course is updated which includes these subject. Practicals are also conducted which really enjances the learning.

NO. College doesn't provide any kind of internship. But there were some companies for the placement. That was good part. But the college helps in providing company internships/training to those who are willing to do so. That is really a good thing.

At that time couple of companies were there as a part of campus interview. Actually Master degree makes a candidate over qualified for many jobs which are related to the industries. so there are already very less job opportunity for Master student as compared to Graduate Engineer. But so far the academic institutes are concerns, there are huge opportunity for the same.

We had annual event for cultural progarm. It was named as Gallore. It was a college level cultural cum sports activity which was celebrated for a week. Technical even named Technoplane was also celebrated yearly. Many students from out of gujarat even had participated. College even also celebrated garba, ganesh utsav, guru purnima, teacher's day, holi, kite festival etc.

Fee structure is reasonable. Almost all the faculties are given 6th pay. So good faculties are always give choice for my college. So, the fee is justifiable so far the faculties and the resources are concern. We paid Rs. 62000/- annually. In addition to this, Rs. 7000/- were paid as a part of examinatin fees and other fees for all four semester as advance deposit. The remaining amount were returned after end of the course.

The trust gives scholarship to maritious students. They give scholarship to the needy and scholar students. They have to fill a form with many details. These forms are then scrutinized and the names are announced.

Male to female ratio was very less for my course. It was around 9:1 for male:female. But for other courses it goes to 6:4. College gives ample of opportunity for extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates, which is really appreciable. Generally during Cultural event and technical event, all above events are covered.

Hostel facilities are average. Mess food is not good. Hostel rooms are good, but I have found the fees to be high. At that time the hostel fees were somewhere 38000/- Sport complex is also with the hostel. Students really take good interest in indoor and outdoor games.

College has very strong alumni network. They try to be in touch with each and every students. One big alumni meet is arranged yearly in which students take good participation.

At that time, end semester examination(theory) was of 75 marks and Internal marks were of 25 marks. External viva voice was of 50 marks. In the marksheet, marks are not reflected but equavalent grades are shown.Result is in form of semester performance index(spi) and after end of 4 semester, cumulative performance index(cpi) is calcualted and it is reflected in the final year marksheet.

ACPC conducts entrance examination. Based on the score achieved in the examination, a marit list is prepared. Admission is done centrally by ACPC. As my rank was good, I filled the choice and I got the admission here. Candidates are called at ACPC as per their marks secured in the entrance examination. Candidates give choice and as per the marit and choice, admission is given.

The faculties were very fine and learned. They had good domain knowledge. They were also good researchers. Many faculties were performing PhD and were publishing good research papers in national and international conferences/journals. some faculties had even traveled abroad for conferences.
