Rizvi college of Architecture is one of the best colleges of Mumbai for the architectural students and located in the heart of Bandra locality. They provide high-quality knowledge to the student? bookish as well as practical knowledge. The infrastructure of the college and support of the faculties both are good. These colleges have an excellent experienced faculty with good method to share knowledge to students. Generally, at last it is a superior college to study in.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of Rizvi College provides masters and bachelors degree in architecture field. The course curriculum period is of 5 years. The management is so good and updated there are internals, lab and semester assessment. The management has planned the practical and theory curriculum very easy so students should have no issues.

Placement Experience

In Rizvi College, companies do not come for placements. The seniors have to find their own jobs, after this the colleges will reviews the firms which you have find and then the job internship support is accepted for the college, as a compulsory internship programme from the course. The college is helpful towards findings and they help you out if you?e struggling with finding an internship.

In Rizvi college of Architecture, 2 events are organized yearly are founders day and the other is an international conference with various speakers. The event full of activities from society, art, music, dance, workshops, theatre's, sports and many more activities are organized which goes for 4 days. There is academic programme also organized by Rizvi College of Architecture which is related studies programme and extra-curricular activities to give an all round education and training to the students. The objective is to expand their imaginative skills and holistic knowledge. The annual calendar includes magazine exhibition of student and faculty works, guest lectures, seminars, workshops, study tours and events like Rizvi Arch Fest, Rizvi Arch Expo and International Conference etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Rizvi College of architecture fees is very feasible as it is private college. The fees of M.Arch are ?1.09 Lakhs yearly and for B.Arch is ?1.27 Lakhs. Students in both the department feel it to be affordable.

Campus Life

The Rizvi College organized extracurricular activities like international & national level design competitions, lectures, presentations of famous professional architects, built-up planners, urban designers, environment, government officials, and sociology specialists. The main activities and facilities of Rizvi College are provided by the college at the workshop centralized in library. The lab audio visual room classroom switches studio computer labs cafeteria auditorium hostel facilities. College have good library which is recently upgraded. The Computer lab is nearby to the library for quick research. Classrooms are recently improved and fitted with Air condition.

Admission

Rizvi Collge is a private Institute situated in Mumbai and offers courses Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture. The admission will be made through CAP based scored in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The candidate must have secured as a minimum 50% total marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2 as well as 50% marks in summative of the 10+2 stage of examination. The candidate who have passed 10+3 diploma test with Mathematics as necessary subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also qualified to apply. Only those candidates who are approved for M.Arch programs will be allotted 20 seats. Only first choice is given to the Muslim Minority candidates. Admission is totally centralized and will be done totally on the basis of merit and you need to bring your precious documents for verification. There is no cutoff for getting admission at Rizvi College of Architecture.

Faculty

The Rizvi college faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a good stability between technical and design staff. The faculty members in college are well-educated and have completed B.Arch and M.Arch. Some faculty members give direction to the students and are very helpful to students in solving their problems

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

teachers are helpful and you can ask them your doubts without any problem. most of them are quite supportive
there are technical events, sports and cultural programs during the year, so college is not only about studies
i liked the practical sessions and labs because we actually got to work on things instead of only learning the thoery

Dislikes

Placements opportunities could be better and i feel the college can bring more companies for students
Sometimes the academics workload can fell a bit much, espically when assignments, practicals and exams come around together
Using mobile in the collge is strictly not allowed and if used our mobile is taken and given after 6 to 7 days .

Placement Experience:

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

Faculty is good. The teachings staff is approachable any time you want. They are well educated and most of them hold doctrate degrees.
The college has a canteen which offers good food at very nominal price
The campus is aur conditioned and every classroom is well designed to accommodate a batch of 80 students at once.

Dislikes

The non teaching staff or the visiting faculty is not approachable by the students.
The college doesn't have a uniform, which most law colleges have to maintain the ethics.
The timings of the college are very early. The lectures start at 7 am in the morning and 75% Attendance is compulsory which is extremely difficult for students in a professional degree to manage with internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

"The Best college"

Faculty of College Is good. All Faculty of College is Well worsed.
Library of the College is Very Good. Having plenty of books. Each Volumes and edition are available to the library.
The Moot Court hall is well equipped. Having all the facilities and modern techniques as well.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure of boys Hostel Should be improved
There is no canteen in college. College can try to open canteen
Parking for Bikes should be improve. College having ample of space for car parking

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Wealthy and good campus

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.

I got admission in this course after qualifying my bachelor degree from All India Council for Technical education or Council of Architecture.
