Remarks

College really transformed me in lot of ways and i am very grateful towards my professor i just want to suggest that now college should emphasis more on experimental studies.

AIEEE my rank was 10000 I opted for this college because i was getting scholarship for this college from my dad's company.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was properly balanced i was from mechanicalwe had one elective each semester in which we elect from the courses of other branches of the college.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship from a CAD simulation company which used to provide simulation results to client and also develop their own simulation software my internship was unpaid.

Placement Experience

Placement was really good for my branch i.e mechanical more than 90% people from my branch got placed average package was also high upto 5.2 lakh for our branch.

College Events

Each year we had a lot of eventssome were technical & some were culturalIn cultural we had, hall day celebration. in which we celebrate hall foundation day celebration. In this residents of that particular hall used to prepare cultural activities and present the same, Spring fest in this Whole college used to celebrate. celebrity night is the prime attaraction of this fest technical Event, innovision this is our annual techfest which happpened every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was totally feasible Per semester we had to pay around 35000 which includes all expenses including mess canteen bil of 10000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Education loan were provided by bank that was inside the campus only most of the students have availed the same.

Campus Life

Campus life was good for me i used to balance my academic and extra co-curricular activities the gender ratio was not good we had grounds for cricket, lawn tennis, basket ball & football.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities were good after first year we were alloted two sharing bedroom and after third year we were alloted single room each floor were had drinking water cooler & 24 hr water supply.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were supportive they used to consult regarding placements companies they also help us with our semester exams and books. I dint have much contacts after the college with the seniors.

Exam Structure

We had one mid sem and one end sem exam in each semester mid sem 30 marks end sem 60 marks internal 10 Marks.

Faculty were really good they really give their best to teach us and try to clear all our doubts whenever we face any apart from academic they also encourage us to take part in technical fest events .

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

So I choose these college over the others because of its relevant name and the hype of this college In India as It is Institute of national importance And also a government backed college and it is one of the most demanded college. So the colleges which I have applied to are DTU, NSUT, Nit Trichy, Nit Warangal, Nit Surat Kal And top 7 iits. No I was not rejected from the other college which I have applied to but the combination of branching and the college value Doesn't satisfied me for taking admission in that colleges. So the admission process for the Nit Rourkela Is that the eligibility criteria is 75% in 12th class And second criteria is to clear the entrance exam which is the JEE mains and also scoring a very good marks in it. Then by the centralised Josaa Counselling student will fill their choices ,lock and get allotments in the upcoming rounds of the josaa counselling. The ending rank to take admission in this college in the EC branch is about a 6000-7000 rank in the jee mains exam for the other state people.
