Remarks

Of course every such institutions have some loopholes in the management but that gets hidden and clouded by the good work done by the management seriously this management only has taken the standards of this college to this height love this college and will always proud to be a part of it really miss those college days now.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE exam had all india ranking 18k, got selected for NIT Rourkela, lucky that I was a part of such a prestigious college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Had a tough curriculum but the teachers were fabulous they helped us in understanding the matters pretty well, gave us extra time whenever we needed even joined conference with us whenever we asked them to.

Internships Opportunities

So many mnc were choosing us for internships I atteneded the internship at HAL INDIA, I was given 2000 for this. I did a project during the internship for which I was appreciated quite well during the final project submission at college.

Placement Experience

95% placement in good well known companies so my college is one of the best currently in the country companies like Google, Amazon, Sony samsung with packages like 10 lakhs per annum.

College Events

Tech and cultural fests we had,innovision it was named sports fiesta as well,film fiesta,music fiesta as well even people like KK, sonu nigam and bands like sunburn goa had joined us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was quite feasible for every student,no matter which economical background he or she belonged to hardly 80k per year including furnished hostel and proper food facility.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was awarded scholarship 50k in 4 years for being studious yes people were provided with easy study loan, it was very helpful indeed.

Campus Life

Gender ratio was quite good in my college usually you won't get to see this in nit or iits. 60/40 it had an enormous campus, and filled with hostels for all kinds of ethnicity we used to celebrate festivals, for all races. Had cricket football tennis stadiums and also swimming pool and well facilitated gyms.

Hostel Facilities

May be the best hostel facility was provided, furnished rooms, tables, chairs, bedding, proper power supply with high speend internet connectivity and all for free apart from 10k for food, delicious yummy food with enough varieties to satisfy any guy from any part of the country.

Alumni/Alumna

We used to have alumnus week and convocation every year i have seen 4 convocations and attended one my own convocation it was really awesome feeling to interact with alumni, and get advices from them.

Exam Structure

Sometimes the labs were a bit hectic, but pretty interesting. Exams were tough, you can't even expect them to be lenient, it's NIT after all it has its standards.

Renowned faculties,very kind and tough at times but very friendly vast knowledge, that's what they offered us we had lots of moments where they gave us far more than what we expected,conferences extra classes, even in weekends just before exams.

Placements are quite good. Thats precisely why i chose this college . The highest offer last year was 52 lpa . Other than that average package is 6 to 8 lpa for cse students . Mostly all students get placed . A few companies that come for placements are Infosys, TCS , JP Morgan , Deloitte , Bookings holidays , Cognizant, Accenture .

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

So I choose these college over the others because of its relevant name and the hype of this college In India as It is Institute of national importance And also a government backed college and it is one of the most demanded college. So the colleges which I have applied to are DTU, NSUT, Nit Trichy, Nit Warangal, Nit Surat Kal And top 7 iits. No I was not rejected from the other college which I have applied to but the combination of branching and the college value Doesn't satisfied me for taking admission in that colleges. So the admission process for the Nit Rourkela Is that the eligibility criteria is 75% in 12th class And second criteria is to clear the entrance exam which is the JEE mains and also scoring a very good marks in it. Then by the centralised Josaa Counselling student will fill their choices ,lock and get allotments in the upcoming rounds of the josaa counselling. The ending rank to take admission in this college in the EC branch is about a 6000-7000 rank in the jee mains exam for the other state people.
