Entrance Preview

CIT Entrance exam which was conducted at college. An Interview was conducted to shortlist the candidates. I scored 97.5 and I opted this college because it had the course which I preferred.

Course Curriculum Overview

Software Testing,JAVA,Maths,English,Digital Electronics,Data Structures,Software development,Artificial intelligence.Overall such a wonderful course through which we could get good job offers.

Internships Opportunities

The college internship experience was 1 year. I did my internship from Oracle India Private Limited. The stipend was 26000 for my 1 year internship .I gained good hands on and was a nice industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

In our class out of 60 people, 45 were placed. Thorough Goods, Google, Oracle, TCS, Accenture, Aricent, Payoda, Skava, Tech Mahindra, Athena health, Akamai, Latent View analytics, Thoshibha, DigiAPt solutions, Intel, Global Analytics are the companies visited our college. They offered in the range of 3.5 lpa to 9 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Educational loan is there where the student after getting graduated, can be employed and settle the loan amount. Scholarship was there for undergrad students who tops the class in a particular year.

Hostel Facilities

Yearly 20,000 for the CIT hostel.The hostel is within the college campus. Its a 4 seater Very neat and tidy. We could clean it ourself or the maiden are avialbale who clean the hostel in a regular basis.I would rate 8/10 for CIT hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Each year alumni meet is conducted at our college CIT. So the students can have a good rapport with the college alumni and the passed out students of the college can meet each other of the same batch or the senior or junior .It creates a good contact within the college students.

Exam Structure

The exams and the labs were chilled out. Lab exams happens 3 times per semester.The mid semester exmas happens 2 .

Faculties were good .They had good knowledge about the subjects and transferred it to the students in the way they could understand very well. They had an in depth practical knowledge which they transferred to the students.

Yes,Laboratory works and laboratory experiments and ambiance that are influenced decision to choose this course.My curriculum helps a lot because i learnt future technologies that are prepares me for real world applications and the i learnt future applications and ? helps me to do a job.Further studies have no idea,then laboratory techniques and experiments that are improve my knowledge in my course curriculum and the smart class teaching was more understandable that was improve my course. Placement Experience:

From the last previous semester, students can avail themselves of campus interviews. Students who have Harriers are not given opportunities because it's in the companies criteria. Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Wipro. Every year at least 10 students get selected. Average is 10,000-15,000 per month 10-15% of students getting placed. I plan to study for competitive exams like UPSC.

Students are generally admitted in colleges of Tamil Nadu through TNEA counselling. Coimbatore Institute of Technology is among top 10 colleges of Tamil Nadu.
