Medical Journey

The course curriculum is as usual similar to any other medical college. The change is reflected based on the practical experience one gains through the learning process. My course duration is 5.5 years and have we have yearly examinations with lots of pre and para practical sessions.

The placements are good enough but not great. For getting placed in the hospital of the college you have to be really bright and have to score in top marks. You will then be preferred for job otherwise off campus is the only option.

There are lots of events conducted by the college has inter college quizzes, questionnaires, debates and other extracurricular activities. The college also gives preference to various seminars and inter college workshops.

The fee structure for the my course is minimum compared to other colleges, but thinking of a middle class family, it is bit expensive. I have to pay around 26.5 lakhs per year for the 5.5 years. So you can calculate how expensive the study is, but being once you become doctor, you won't feel sorry for it.

About the scholarship, I have no knowledge about it. But you can get loan assistance from banks. The college will help you get it. The college will get you the detailed fee structure, so that the bank will provide with minimum interest rate.

There are no sports activities in the college, but there is a huge playground. Interested students can go and play different games. The labs are awesome and the practical sessions are the time where you can learn so many things and gain experience in handling patients.

Yes, mostly hostel is compulsory for most of the students except for few. The hostel rentals are expensive, but the extravagant price does not offer extra-exceptional room facilities. The rentals cost you around 1.5 lakhs per year.

The alumni network is big and they are the strong pillars of this college. There is a three years once alumni meetup in the college, where you can get contacts of various alumni and proportionally reflect on the growth of your career. The seniors are very helpful. There is a bit if ragging but not extensively. It is only for fun.

The admission into this college requires your clearance of NEET exam. Also your aggregate in the 10th and 12th std will be considered for your seat allotment. Actually after your entrance exam you have to enter the medical counselling to choose this college based on your meritorious NEET marks.

The faculties are very knowledgeable and they have mastered the field in which they are teaching. They have lots of experience and try to give the whole of their brief to us by teaching effectively through practical implications.
