Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was interested in MBBS & becoming a Doctor. So firstly to get into a any Medical College in India you have write a All India exam NEET exam & score minimum of qualified marks to get a seat in MBBS. My ranks & mark was AIR64000 & 527 respectively.I got the admission in the college through KEA which you havr to register yourself before hand

Fees and Financial Aid

I am Open srate category private candidate so tuition fees per year is around 1092500 & college fees is around 95000 per year which may vary per year. The fees for Govt candidate in the college is 144000 approx per year & college fees remains the same for all the candidates. The fees for management category is around 26lakhs per year & college is 95000 per year. There is also Scholarship available but is only for KARNATAKA STATE candidates.

Campus Life

4

Our College is one of Biggest Private College in North Karnataka & Raichur. Annually a Fest called REGALE is conducted every year which is a intresting cultural & musical fest conducted by our College its gennerally a 3-day event in the college. On the basis of Regale there are sports event conducted & Diffrent competions are conducted. Another COMA us conducted by the Ug & Pg students of the NAVODAYA MEDICAL COLLEGE in which the Famous orators or medical famous personalities come here & attend the function which is also a 3-day event

Hostel Facilities

4

Best thing about the college is Hostel & Mess are inside the Campus only around 1km from the College. There are 5 boys & girls hostel respectively separated. The general room are double occupancy non-ac ones with common bathroom which yearly fees is 1.1lac including mess you can choose rooms on out choice like single occupancy non-ac around 1.5lac ; single occupancy ac 2.5lac & many more.

Admission

Actually I got this college on the basis of option filling in the CHOICE FILLING FACILITY when registring to KEA My college & Hospital is far better than some of the private medical colleges in India. No I didnt get rejected from any college I got this college on the basis of ranking & my scoring basis. So in the 2nd in which applied I didnt got the upgradation to other colleges ????

Faculty

4

The faculties of the college are well qualified for their subject some are inviting & charming some are irritating & so are helpful & the Mentor programme in the first year really helps in which 15 students are personally under one lecturer to guide them throughout the year. In first year there is conduction of bunch of exams like class tests, internals& university exams.By the 2nd there is only 3 internals & university exams. Almost our college has a passing ratio of 70-75%.

Night Life

3

As Raichur is a small town there is no Nightlife as such. Raichur is a worst place for visiting nearby places because is no such place to hangout except Mantralayam 30km from the college; Bichala temple 25km ; Narradagade 40km from raichur aee some of the visiting place Boys Hostel timings open all the time Girls Hostel timings morning 6:30 am to 9:30 pm Raichur is safe but not safe enough at the night because the town sleeps at 11pm itself. Central library is present which has a Cafeteria where we can chill with our friends & timings are 8am to 9pm. Besides the mess there is a small garden where group of friends can hangout with.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

There is no such special curriculum just i want to be a doctor so i chosed mbbs. It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year
