Course Curriculum Overview
I was always fascinated to treat the sick and save lives of mankind so I chose to be a doctor and took up this course . The curriculum we follow is RS 4 scheme which is mainly practical oriented to prepare us to be good doctors exam tenure varies every year so I feel it's quite needed inorder to be prepared and become good doctors
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is constant but college charging additional fees is pretty much high along with the hostel fee . Scholarship is not provided by the college. Being an intern we are supposed to receive stipend as per NMC norms but we won't get paid .
Campus Life
Every alternate year there is an annual fest regale where in all the courses including pharmacy , physiotherapy ,nursing take part since it is a intercollege fest which will be held around April and coming to specific course , coma which is conference on medical activities is annual medical conference which is student funded and organised is conducted around September or October every 2 years .
Hostel Facilities
Sharing rooms with 2 beds , cup board and a study table provided with common washrooms . Roomspace falls short for 2 and the washrooms are very unhygienic. Food is not bad , non veg is provided for dinner every alternate day , breakfast has 2 items along with juice , tea, coffee and milk . No separate registration is needed but it's quite costly as the fee is pretty high
Admission
Neet is the eligibility course , the admission details are provided by the kea and official college website . Reservation benefits are availed during admission and counseling so we'll know it in the kea official website.
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is suffice . Faculty is well trained and their approach to teaching is powerpoint presentation based and mentorship is observed during the initial years which is pretty old school type . They're interactive and well approachable.
