The course curriculum is based on the CBME curriculum which is being followed from the year of 2019 . This CBME curriculum is proposes by the IMC The CBME curriculum focuses more on practical based skills providing us with postings in every departments fron the second year of MBBS itself

Internships Opportunities

In our course duration of five and a half years Four and a half year is the course duration with a year of internship The stipend is also well off for an intern in yenepoya medical college A good exposure can be availed through this internship

Fees and Financial Aid

There are merit seats for students from karnataka and kasargod with a fee structure of 75000 to 200000 per year. There are other qoutas including management and NRI quota The fee structre for management quota for a year is 2200000 and NRI is 3500000 in the year 2023 The fee structure has increased for the students enrolled in 2024 batch

The overall experience in yenepoya medical college is so overwhelming We are always surrounded by programs and celebrations The college provides us with the best central library for guidance and reference Sports are extremely involved in the curriculum of this college

Hostel Facilities

The hostels and present for both boys and girls in yenepoya medical college The accomodation can be either 3 or 4 sharing depending on our preference There is also an option to opt for A/C or Non A/C rooms The food provided in the mess of hostel are good comparing to most of the hostels

Admission

The three options that were given for allotment were Yenepoya medical college ,KMC manipal , And KS hegde But the top preference was yenepoya medical college itself because of its infrastructure To get admitted in yenepoya medical college one meed to qualify for NEET

Faculty

The facultys are top notch. The students are able to keep a convenient and friendly bond with the faculties . They can be approached for any help The course is for 5 and a half years We have 3 internals before the university exams in every year

Night Life

The nightlife varies for girls and boys The curfew for girls is till 6 30 pm and boys 10 pm But this doesnt stop the fun and life in this college There are so many hangout spots in and around the yenepoya medical college to wind our days after a hectic day in college There is gym facility for both boys and girls Mang cafeterias are also present in and around the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
