The course is design is very scientific manner such that it intend to give deep knowledge to the student. Clearing every minute concept is the priority. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it is student friendly. So that large number of students get attracted towards studies.

Placement Experience

It is one of the best government College in Assam. Its placement record is good being one of the best and oldest college under Assam university many companies came for campus recruitment. The placement opportunity is going to increase in the upcoming years.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I was a student of BA from this college. I have to pay 11,000 rupees per annum for my degree. My course was of 3 year duration. Being government funded college it is pocket friendly economical for all.

Campus Life

Our college has a canteen and gymnasium where most of the students can be found after their college hours for relaxation. Many cultural Nights organised every year for refreshment of the students from Daily college day routine.

Admission

Admission to my college is purely merit based for getting admission into this college you have to apply online from the official website of the college. A sum of rupees 200 will be charged for applying in this college.

Faculty

faculties are highly dedicated to our work. They are always there to help us whether physical or by telephonic conversation they are with us 24* 7. Their family real behaviour don't let us to feel that we are are away from our home and living in hostels. They guide us Like their own children.

Specific aspects of the curriculum is that our college tried to give internship to the students. It is average the curriculum prepare me for the real world applications. It is better for us teacher explain theory by doing practical in lab. The frequency is fast so exam is little bit difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

• I always loved plants, trees and forest as my father is from Forest background. So, I wanted to walk on his footsteps and do something is same background. I always dreamt of making a change in the society and serve the society so I choose Botany subject. •The curriculum is planned in such a way that we learn both theoretically and practically, we go on field trips where we interact with common people and do surveys that will help us in future while working on the department •There is no such areas that needs improvement, I like the way it is going on and the teaching method is also nice, only the thing is there should not be so many classes in one day, as a student gets very exhaust •The frequency and timing of exams is that in sessional its 25 marks with 1 hour 30 minutes and its easy to moderate, and 2nd is final which is of 50 marks with 2 hours 30 minutes and its moderate to hard

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.
