Remarks

College management is excellent. They response to each and every queries.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which I have opted is well and good as it's the blend of both Mechanical Engineering and Management studies. The Exam Structure is semester wise, to score well we need to do good in both Internals and Externals. In last semester we had been to ACE FOUNDRIES as part of Industry Visit by this initiative we were able relate the theoretical concept with the practical approach and learnt many more apart from our same age old syllabus. Yes, my course is research driven we get good guidance from professors especially our DEAN Dr. D are Away has helped many of our seniors in their project work and he invites us to involve in his consultancy projects, this makes us strong enough to become a fair professional.

Placement Experience

4

When compared to other branches our branch is flexible the graduates can fit into any industry whether it is IT or Service sector. The placement training given here is well to fetch the job but later we need to work smart to excel. With a good academic score, a couple of internships, mini projects, research papers, innovativeness surely we can get a job in campus selection or pool campus recruitment.

College Events

4.5

Annually our college celebrates various festivals, fests and many more. As our college is a part of JSS mutt Mysore, they give more importance to tradition, during Ganesha festival we celebrate it with grandness then Independence day. And another important aspect Verve fest is organised in our college which drives the attention of youngsters from whole Bangalore as there will be amazing enjoyment such as DJ nights, Dance show and some special guest. Other than this every branch of engineering conducts technical fests in order to develop competitive spirit in young minds.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In point of veiw its actually expensive, the total cost of the course touches around 4, 00, 000 ripped irrespective of the branches. As it is an engineering college under Vivesvaraya technological University, the fee structure is designed by the government itself. In order to provide good infrastructure I think they have hiked the fees but it's too tough for the middle class people to bare the cost of Engineering course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have opted for Education Loan from Allahabad Bank. At the time of application the bank authority expected me to provide documents such as pan card, previous academic years marks list with self attestation, parents signature in various forms and even they ask for quotation in order estimate our actual cost of the course.

Campus Life

4.5

There is equality in gender ratio particularly in our branch but when it comes to mechanical branch the ratio of gender is about 30:5 (Boys:Girls). The lab facility here is excellent the reason behind it is experienced faculties, latest equipments, sponsorships from different industries, etc. And coming to the extracurricular activities such as sports, yes for sure our college stands at top in university level especially in Cricket and various other activities are also concerned for the overall development of the students.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network is good coz they help out us in our mini projects when we can expect some sort of professional guidance.

Admission

As soon as my PU I appeared for my entrance exam i. e is KCET and was able to fetch some marks which is not too good or too bad. I was very much interested to pursue MBBS but it left me unturned because I didn't get good marks in NEET exam. So I decided to engineering, then I got a notification from KEA board that there's going to be a document verification session on so and so scheduled date, I went through it. After some days according option entry scheme via online with my choice of preference I was allotted with this college. This process began in the month of April and got over in August, please mind it this may vary yearly.

Faculty

4

Every day there will be 7 to 8 hours of class including laboratory sessions. All faculties are excellent in our branch which is headed by our HOD Dr. Vijay Kumar under guidance of DEAN RESEARCH Dr. D are Swamy, were both of them are experts in both academics and industry and there are other facilities who involve in teaching process of other subjects related to our branch. I agree that the study environment is good and faculty is excellent but our college comes under the affiliation of VTU where we can find outdated topics in the syllabus, other than this everything is awesome.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
