Best Place for Communicative English

No bad remarks about my department, my college. I am sure any other department do not have such faculty like our college. Proud to be a student of Communicative English department. I can bet Communicative English is best taught at Serampore College.

During our time there was no semester & exams were held at the end of the year. But now it has changed to CBCS system. But the syllabus of each & every course is very good. They are informative & descriptive that helps a student to get idea about everything they study in detail.

In our department there was no placement facility. But teachers helps us to build strong contact in the field we will be working in the future. Yes, several internship opportunities were provided to us & I did my internship from an agricultural media. Even after graduation I asked my teachers & they provided me with internships.

Every year fest is held in our college which is called 'UTSAV'. The fest is generally of two days & it starts with the student's performance. After that different famous singers rock on the stage. Different singer for two different days. Passes are given before UTSAV. Anyone having a pass can enter.

As we all know that Communicative English is a self financed course in every college, the fee structure is quite high compared to other subjects. The mode of payment is offline. Like other private colleges, we can't buy seats here. Every process is done with transparency.

No I didn't opt for any scholarship. But the college provides girl child scholarship & Kanyashree as welll.

Campus life - Excellent Sexual orientation should not at all matter when you are taking admission in a college. Same is the case here. What matters is you are a human being. You can live freely & people around college are really great & helping. Politics- There is no such politics here.

My seniors were quite helpful & friendly. I have seen studentsbof other department as well hanging around with seniors & having a really good bonding with me. The alumni of our college is really great. When we have reunion we really feel that. People who have graduated almost 20/30 years back. They come & participate together, enjoy together, dance together.

Generally the forms are released after Higher Secondary results. Then a merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored in the board exams and then the marks of the desired honours subject is added. There is no SC/ST/General. Here there is only two categories General & Christian.

Each & every faculty of our college is very supportive & helpful. I proudly say I am an ex student of Serampore College. Teachers act like father & mother & guide us even after we graduate. From solving problems to guiding they are a PRO at everything.
