Entrance Preview

I did't attend any entrance examination. Actually its an arts collage and admisson done through interview. I was interested in IT and related subjects. I came to know about that collage from a newspaper. We were the first batch of the collage. At that time college campus was not much attractive and even it was a rental building. But the environment and stafs are good. The locality was awesome. A real village with lot of green. Initially i didn't get admitted to Computer science and was in electronics. Afterwards i changed to CS.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have done UG in Computer science. Its a 3 year or 6 semester cource. I don't remember the subjects exactly. But ot includes C, C++,cobol, basic electronics, mathematics, English etc.

Internships Opportunities

As its an art and science college, we didn't appear any internship program. But we done two projects which are based on two languages. One os in asp. Net and other is in c sharp. Our staffs help a lot in getting this done. They done frequent review on project. The main project we done is online banking. We done this for a leading bank at our district.

Placement Experience

4

I am already mentioned that our collage was started with our batch. So there was scarcity of placement. We appeared few open walk in drives. And got selected in fw companies also. But i prefer to study more and ignored those invites.

College Events

4

There happen arts and sports week yearly andal the season celebration are enjoyed a lot. Management had a supported and encouraged us a lot. We used to conduct those programs in a community hall nearby our collage. Almost all programs are enjoyed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is really manageable for a middle-class family like mine. Its around 12k per semester. And extra of maximum 250 for examinations. The total amount my fater spend for my studies will be below 75K.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nope. Nothing like that. I am belong to general community and we don't have any relaxation. But for some friends of lower communities got scholarship and stipends. Those help them a lot financial.

Campus Life

2.5

What nade me to smile when iam so screwed is my college memories. It was such a great experience. I got a dozen of good friends and a sweet heart from my college life. We were of 13:10 ratio in my class. We didn't faced any issues regarding religion, gender or anything. There were a college Union where we fight and win. It was the first political experience i had.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I didn't used hostal or mess. I used to travel daily. Its was around 25 kms from my house to college. All my colleagues use the same method so there was no hostal facility.

Alumni/Alumna

We used to meet frequently. But there was nothing conducted by college authority. We still have agood relationship with juniors. Now we completed 4 years and planning for a great get together. We already spoked with the principal and he agreed.

Exam Structure

Exam happend in end of each semester. Those exams gives us a powerful mindset to face the real exams in life. Great experience is the viva exams. When i got tensed they made me cool. And given the strength to face all challenges.

Faculty

5

During the course as like all the students iam also felt so boring. But now o feel very lucky to be a student of such teachers. The lessons they teach us are still in heart.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
