Remarks

I have enjoyed a lot my engineering days. I have have participated in various technical, cultural events. These activities are supported by different staffs.

Entrance Preview

PCM Score 91%. I have took admission in 2003. No Extrance Exam was for Engineering College. I took admission for Civil Engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil Department of WCE college is one of oldest and has all required facilities and Labs. It has separate Structural Department. I have taken Advance Structural Mechanics

Placement Experience

Placement is very good. In my batch we got more than 100% placement.Placement offers were from 2.5lacs to 10 lacs. many people had multiple offers.

College Events

Vision is nation technical event held each year. It is three day event Gathering event is cultural festival also a three day event. We also celebrated some civil specific events like Aakruti 2005.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was feasible at our time. It was around 26000 for college and 10 for hostels mess charges were extra. It was optional mess charges were around 700 per month

Fees and Financial Aid

EBC facility available in the college. I have not availed any scholership or loan. though for SC/ST and OBC many scholarships and library schemes are available.

Campus Life

In Civil almost 15 girls were there in class of 80 student. lots of extra curriculum activities happened in college. lots of groups are available to join based on your interest. like rotaract, each branch has there own organizations.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was good, hostel builds are pretty old, Mess was managed by students (I dont know what is going on now) so it is good and relatively less expensive.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

I have not yet actively participated in any event though it has very strong alumni network. Every year some events has been organised. This year also alumni event is scheduled at 9th January 2016.

Exam Structure

Exam structure at our time was not hectic or chill. There was mid term exams which were counted for marks in orals. Some teachers were very strict about them

Faculty

Faculty of College is very good. most of the professors are PHD holder senior faculty is very knowledgeable. If you are serious they will help you in every way.

yes my college provide campus placement. we have seprate placement cell for preparation of placemet interview and compony ready. We also have many companies in tieups for hiring.avg placement is also good like 5-6 lpa student easy to get 10+ lpa package when your acedmics are good and skill development

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
