Remarks

My college is what people think is very good and reputed college but after leaving there i must say dont choose this one. They are only about money and greedy. They might not consider your problems at all. They are selfish and they will ask for money for everything.

Entrance Preview

I have given MH CET at that time in 2011. I scored 87 in that. And through the CAP round i got this college in the very first round. My branch here was civil. I knew that this was one of the best college and also its an autonomous college. So i preferred it.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course was absolutely fine. We learned many subjects. ANd it helped us to become a good engineer. We learned structural subjects. Then there are environmental studies. Irrigation studies are also there. After that we studied some electives.

Internships Opportunities

Our college does not allowed us for an internship course. So there is nothing i can share about that and no stipend offered. So i do not have any experience to share about that.

Placement Experience

2

The placements were good but not the best. Few companies came they do offered a lucrative package. In the range of 3.5 lpa to 4.5 lpa.

College Events

0.5

Our college used to jave technical events on branch level and cultural festivals on college level. It was named YASH. Which happens every year in the month of jan or feb.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive. The college is all about money money and money. There is fees there for everything. Even when we were passing out they told us to contribute some amount and then they will give us a farewell. So much they have fallen to extent for money.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no such helpful thing that my college has done. They never thought about students in the first place. They were only about reputation and money. Thats all.

Campus Life

1

The college never supported extra curricular activities. All they said was to study hard or else u were going to fail. No sport nothing. They never encouraged us for that. And even during the college fest they used to scold us for doing that stuff.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The hostel facilities is like a jail. The mess over there is changed few times but it is also like jail food. There is also corruption. And they do mot want to listen to the students. The management is very greedy for money. The average rental is about 70000 pee year. And the facilities are not worth that at all.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were like us. They were helpful and supportive. Alumni we never came accross. But our seniors were good and talkative. They helped us in many ways during college fests and project works. And during exams also.

Exam Structure

The exams were quite tough i must say. But the lab facility is outdated. Basically our college is based on corruption. They take money from us but do not provide anything.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty was very good there. They used to encourage us. Soke faculty were not helpful at all but otherwise others were good. The standards of this college were maintained but not to that level which we expected. It were average.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
