Its a good college with excellent faculty members

The college management is a bit too strict. I have personally felt that the management compel us to open up our personal matters even if it doesn't effect our studies.

The curriculum is well systematic to provide us the practical knowledge as well. The lab facilities are perfect despite of the terrible kerala floods which hit us the previous year. The laboratories have all the equipments required for us and all are technically maintained periodically. We have lab assistants who can help us in case of any equipment damage.

We donot have any placements from our department. There are no specific steps taken by the institution in preparing us for an interview.

We celebrate almost all the religious festivals in our college. We celebrate onam, christmas, easter. We also celebrate mother's day, childrens' day, teacher's day, etc, etc. We celebrate Youth festival for 2 days. It includes both on-stage and off-stage events. This includes essay writing, recitation, drama, dance items, etc.

The fee structure depends on the quota based on which we took admission. If it is based on merit list, the fee is nit a thing. But for the students on management quota has to pay a huge donation for getting the seat. This is not the case for the students in self financing courses. They have to pay a huge amount each semester as the tuition fee as well as a donation also.

I didn't get any scholarships because they said that there is no scholarships for management students.

My college is a women's college. A lot of activities are conducted in our college. Since we are post graduation students we get time to participate only in some selected activities like debates, seminars, essay writing, awareness classes, workshops, etc, etc. All religious festivals and ethnic events are celebrated every year.

The alumni network is a bit weak in our college. Some passout students fail to keep in touch with the college. But those are in contact is very useful for us in case of our further career options.

The students can register online. There is online allotment process available at the beginning of the academic year. The students can also apply for a management seat through an interview. I opted for this course because I just love my subject - Physics. This institution has a NAC accredition of A* which makes it one of the two colleges under Calicut University to be rated A*.

The faculty members are excellent and very friendly. They are easily approchable - even during the vacations. We have some guest lectures for self financing departments. But for other courses we have well-experienced teachers. We also have permanent lab assistants.
