About the college

Overall it's a good college to spend your 4 years. you can enjoy your college as you wish. Management are not so strict. you can enjoy aside you can also concentrate on your studies and get placed in reputed companies. Since it's a government college,college has to improve their hygiene.

Curriculum is updated every 4 years as per industry standards. You can easily understand the subjects which is helpful to get on campus placements. And I the curriculum there is an industrial visits. Every student should undergone atleast one industrial visit to eligible to get their degree.

Every year in the month of July placements season will start. Companies like tcs,Accenture,MRF,SAP,PayPal,sapient,sankalp semiconductor,L&T,EATON are regular visitors to the college. Placements process vary company to company starting from aptitute and go on upto HR interview. Generally it will take 3 rounds for all company. College will prepare their students for placements in the beginning of 3rd year itself. They will train you and sometimes outside trainers will come to improve your soft skills. Out of 460 students 350+ students will get final offer at the end of the course.

College is having literary club where you can participate in technical events conducted by each department. And sometimes soft skills program also will be conducted. One of the biggest festival of the college is PECOFES happens every year. It's a national level festival students from others states will come to participate in that. Events such as technical, cultural,gaming,racing,Fashion show will be the highlights of the festival. Apart from this every department as their own cultural program.

Since it's a govt college fee is affordable per year you have to pay around 15k. Apart you have to pay your semester fees which will come around 5000 for 2 semesters. If your dayscholar there is bus facilities available for a year you have to pay 10k. Bus timings will be mrng 8 and evening 5.

College avails scholarship for students whose annual income not exceeds 60000. You have to clear all the papers in every semester to eligible for next year scholarship. I don't know the exact amount they got from the scholarship.

College is having 3:2 gender ratio. College is having separate ground inside the college. Yearly sports meet will be conducting for all departments.sports such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball,tabletennis are available. And every department has their own well established lab facilities with high speed internet.

I am a dayscholar. Even though am a day scholar I know very about hostels. For 1st and final year 1 hostel. For 2nd and 3rd years 1 hostel. So totally 2 men's hostels are there. Each room is twin sharing room. Rooms are good enough and food below average only. There is no PG is there around the college.

Throughout my college I haven't known any of our alumni. College has to improve their alumni interactions to help our students to get more exposure.

You will get admit through two process 1. Through CENTAC for state residing people. 2. Through entrance exam JEE for other state students. Through merit list you can opt for your desired course. I opted this course because this the top rated institution in the state and government college. As we all know in govt colleges fee is low as compared to private.

I am belongs to mechanical engineering department. In my department there around 20 faculty. Average age of the faculties ranging from 40 to 55. All are PhD holders. Some of them have done their mtech in top most IIT's of our country. Each faculty experts in their area of interest. So you will get adequate knowledge.
