Teaching proficiency

Should focus on placements and industrial collaborations.

I didn under graduation in industrial and production engineering. Teaching is highly proficient and up to the mark. As for as industrial concern, there should be lot of initiation to be taken care by the respective department. We did not have any industrial collaboration but recently it has been collaborated with nearby industries which is very good sign.

Soon we entered final year we came to know that a lot of opportunities opened from companies like TCS, mindtree but getting into software companies being a mechanical engineer was very difficult.

Offcourse there were lot of events technical, cultural fests had been organised to develop extra curricular, personality development skills in every student which were more interesting than any other activities. Apart from that we could also see lot of sports events throughout the year which made us more enthusiastic.

I don't exactly remember the number but for some of the students there were consissions by installments. Most of the admissions coming in were from KCET. we could easily acknowledge the transparency in the fee breakdown. There were also option kept through management where fee structure was not fixed.

There were lot of scholarship facilities to be availed for backward students. Most of them were being offered by the government.

Talking about college life, it was very friendly and beautiful. A lot of fun as well as studies. Since it was a CO education college there were lot of girls to see. However, gender wise densed with male community. Attending classes on western dresses was strictly prohibited inside the campus.

Since I was from the same place I did not choose hostel but most of my friends were staying in hostel. Best part of the hostel was canteen food. Apart from that rooms were on sharing basis without attached bathroom. Talking about rentals it was affordable.

Our seniors were as cool as cucumber, they were really helpful in guiding us with their experience.

I got this college through Karnataka common entrance test. I chose this college because it was located in my native place. Also, one of the prestigious college in North Karnataka. College has very good infrastructure as well. It has opened around 11 branches with fully fledged labs.

Our batch strength was 30 and as per the nominal ratio we have around 10 lecturers. Which was fair enough to manage. All of them were well qualified having done with their masters and pursuing Phd's. Some of them had very good industrial experience that helped us to understand the concepts mod practically.
