Entrance Preview

CET, Rank : 54Opted for this as it was very close to my house. And also wanted mechanical only.So that I can pursue aeronautical or aerospace in Masters.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm still in 3rd sem. Till now the subjects are good. But the 5 event system makes bit stressful. But over all its good.I heard that our seniors have space dynamics add elective, which feels very good.

Internships Opportunities

This is my 2 nd year so haven't attended any internships.

Placement Experience

It seems that the college focuses very much on placements. Almost 100% placements are done every year in almost all branches.

College Events

We celebrate and conduct lot of events. JCiyana, mechmerize, fosscamp, etc. That part of fun is very very good here. One or the other event will be going on everyday.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't got any scholarship or haven't heard of any.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors encourage us to participate in events and competitions, they also inform us about new events going around. Also they include us in their participating groups etc.

Exam Structure

It's always hectic with 5 event system. Always will be busy studying or writing assignments.Feels 2 on 3 system is better.

Faculty

Faculty is not very very good. But manageable. Few professors are very good at their subjects but few new lecturers are still behind the line. About the standards, the standards are good, better than other colleges in the locality.

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

The campus placements are pretty well and this year they are even more better .from 6 th semester onwards students become eligible for the placement and I have also planned to cover multiple cources provided by the college and some outside material also to get the market exposure and make my resume more stronger.The highest package offered by the companies is 48 lpa.The placement percentage ranges from 75 to 85 percent

The admission process to this branch will be based on KCET only. Eligibility is 12th pass in science stream and should a Karnataka student to write kcet.
