Remarks

I wanted to enroll into Computer Science Discipline and this was the best I was getting based on the marks I had scored in JEE. Also, the college is situated in Gandhinagar which is the capital city of Gujarat. Gujarat is considered to be a pretty peaceful state plus the living conditions there are pretty good as well so my parents were comfortable in sending me there

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty well created keeping in mind the present needs of the industry. The faculties are very helpful and qualified. They are there to help in every way possible. The facilities are limited but sufficient. Necessary steps are always taken for the betterment of students.

Placement Experience

Most of the profiles that are offered by the companies visiting the campus is of Software Engineer. Companies such as Amazon, Mathworks, Samsung, Adobe, Reliance Jio, etc. have visited the campus in the past. The batch of 2016 was the first batch to gain 100% campus placement. The alumnis of the college are always willing to lend a supporting hand. The college also saw rise of a highly successful start-up by the name of OneRamp.

College Events

Regular events are held by the student body in collaboration with the college administration giving sufficient opportunities to the students to showcase their skills. The college hosts 3 seperate fests for literature, cultural, and technical events. The events invites students from the Colleges in the Gujarat circuit while the in house participation is also pretty good.

My honest Experience at Ahmedabad University

Placement Experience:

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and the placements cell starts preparing us earlier through workshops, mock interviews and resume sessions. A good range of companies visit the campus, including consulting firms, it companies, finance and analytics roles, start-ups and well-known multinational organisations. The number of offers varies each year, but most visiting companies recruit for roles like business analysts, software developers, marketing associates, finance trainees and operations roles.

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students become eligible to sit in the placement of the college. The college providess oncampus placements and has various connections and ties with various companies like Google amazon and many other. Last year total of 75% students got placed with average of 11lpa package and highest package was 60 lpa. Also this college helps you get internship opportunities right from 2nd year which is very good.

I took jee mains exams in 2023. I was preparing from fitjee Delhi. I took the exam for the January session. My percentile was 96.4. Later decreased to 92.
