Entrance Preview

I took the COMEDK examinations scoring 84 marks which earned me a decent rank. I chose my college because it was Opt for the stream I wanted to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was both challenging and enlightening. The labs especially required in depth research and dedication. The theory papers gave u a good understanding of the subject and them coupled with the practical labs gave u clarity in the particular subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Our university did not allow internships. I however did a particular internship in my hometown in BSNL telecommunications on network devices. It was a 1 month internship that offered no stipends but the overall experience was good and I learned a lot from that.

Placement Experience

Its very good especially for the computer science domain information technology has great strong hold in the likes of bangalore, so opportunities were in plenty had multiple offers to choose from once I finished college and set put for a job. There were people in mg stream who had up to 5-6 offers.

College Events

We had our college fest every year the kalanjali. It was like any other typical college fest,fun. We also had yearly sports tournaments and debate competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was nominal for a private engineering college.

Campus Life

There were just as many females as males and there was great harmony on campus. Everybody knew everybody and people were friends.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors were always great and senior are helpful.

Exam Structure

Engineering colleges are famous for holding one too many examinations. We had to give close to 34 examinations including both internals and externals.

Faculty

The faculty was helpful,strict and friendly according to need. I remember getting into trouble a fair number of times in these 4 years but these were all lessons,lessons at professionalism and conduct.

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle and many tech companies like them are in agreement with our college for placements. Our college has a great placements opportunities as even after so many CSE students, 70% students every year gets placed with packages as high as 30 lakhs even.

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Sir MVIT - A decent college with great potential to improve.

I had applied through KCET exam and with my rank of around 10000 this college was in match with my rank. Other colleges which I had applied to included msrit, dsce, bmsit, bmsce, rv, etc. I couldn't make it through to these colleges as their cut offs we're higher and i needed a higher rank for my course of choice. Although I would have got selected for a different course like eee, ete, etc. in these above colleges, I gave preference to my course. Admission process was smooth as it was through KCET counselling, once we pay the fees directly through bank account, i just had to visit the college once for the admission process and also pay some extra fees there. KCET would be a better option than comedk or management quota as the fees will be lower....Read More

The admission procedure was really smooth. I got admitted through CET. I had scored 9k rank and got admitted under CET for ECE branch. The aspect that i didn't like is that the reservation given based on caste. Even a person who had 5 times more rank than me got admitted to the same course at a really low fee.
