For it's reputation. and for brand name too. techno India group is the largest group they have their own University too and school and college which are affiliated to makaut. if you want to enjoy your college life then take admission

Course Curriculum Overview

Umm it's difficult to say because I have make lot of memories and friends. yup curriculum is pretty good and academics is okay and faculties are average. they are helpful but not much as I expect they have ego problem.

College Events

Campus life was superb. It includes sports, arts, and many events. Technical events are fantastic which allows most students to make involvements and increase their knowledge. Cultural events are ajoy to watch. National level technical events are hosted by college. Which attracts students from various colleges.

There is WiFi facility but only 25mb per day. it's not enough to open Google in a smartphone. yup they have basketball court and cricket ground and football too. library is huge but not useful.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is an emotion. Seperated from home you don't feel about returning home. Hostel facilities are good although seats are limited. Hostel has nice surroundings. It includes volleyball ground, basketball ground and football ground. Rooms are shared between the students. Hostel life is quiet a memory.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

An honest review of GCE KANNUR by a student

The college is merit based admission college, to get admission in this college you have to write an entrance exam which is KEAM and I have a rank of 16000 in KEAM So the college I first confirmed admission was GEC Kozhikode which was a good college but the campus was too small so there was a spot admission which was held by GCE kannur and I applied for it The admission process is managed by KEAM they give you a date to take admission and the process gets done in 2hrs you have to be physically present with your parents , The overall admission experience was smooth and well managed by the faculties...Read More
