A life curve which should never end

The college was a lot more fun under university pattern. But the quality of study was not upto the mark.In autonomy the quality of study is good but the fun part is no where to be seen. Too strict rules and guidelines have hampered the image of college. Also orthodox thinking of management has crushed it's image in students eyes.Having said that the transeprancy and professionalism shown by college is unmatched.

I took SEEE and score 108 out of 200. This was the best college at this score due to hind minority quota. And I wanted CS or IT only

It was not good for the first year. After that our college got autonomy and subjects were revised and was better.In university there were many irrelevant subjects that were very outdatedBut in autonomy the revised subjects were quite relevant and course was relatively new. The are experimenting currently but working in the right directionIn next couple of years they will have a stutainable n suitable course for all the branches. They should concentrate more on practicals for core branches like mech, civil and electrical engineering

Only one comapny came for internship with no stipend.However many companies like persistent Ltd and ITC infotec etc came for project for final year students which was a great learning curve for all the students involved in such projects. But intenship wise college lacked contacts internship had to be done on ones own contact and expense which was not good of a deal.

Placements were 100%Majorly due to mass recruiters like infosys, Accenture and tech m. They took record breaking students.Infosys took 300 odd students while other cracked 170 200 etc.So placement for IT jobs are plenty but that of core branches are only okay. Only if you are a topper in your branch you can score a core comapny job.

Pratishruti was the annual fest which was dullTechnovision was the technical fest which was good.Then there is freshers party which was awesome Colossieum was another technical event focused on various fun plus technical events. I organised that and had a great experience.There were individual branch installation which were carried out by each of the branch respectively.

Extracurricular activities were carried in a very evenly manner.Sports events was distributed throughout the year. All major sports plus athletics were covered.Debates, extempore, GD were integral part of branch cup. So they were practiced on a very good level. Robotics side was week as not enought encouragement was present.

The autonomy exam structure was tight and good. Sessional and semesters were placed in such a way that students were always on their tows with something or the other.Lab activity was minimal and can be improved according to me. That is an are college should work on.Otherwise exam pattern n marks distribution was quite good and even and fair too.

They were good and experienced. They had the right push for u. All the teacher mostly were phd. Some them had done extensive researches also and had published renowned papers in their respective fields. The new recruits were quite good too. The teachers training program is very regular and keeps the profs in place. Teachers evaluation is also done regularly
