Remarks

IIT was always my dream college. I always wanted a label of IITian. I was always good at my studies. The quality of IIT is unmatchable with another college. Education is much superior in IIT. Also, the placement rates of IIT are quite high. I opted for this course as this course attracts me the most. I am great at these subjects. Also, it would provide me with ample opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is brilliant according to me. It is taught in a great manner by our intelligent professors. They have great knowledge about the subject. They are an ocean of knowledge. They are available 24/7 to solve the queries of students.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

College Events

The campus life of IIT is very smooth and amazing. Various fun events are held for the enjoyment of students such as Dance competitions, musical shows, etc. Each of these events took place in a very big tent with a huge audience. Many film stars also visit IIT for the promotion of their movies.

Campus Life

IIT is a big name itself. It is built very beautifully with perfection. Classes are very big with proper ventilation. Each class has a very big projector which is used by professors for a better understanding of students. Wi-Fi is present everywhere on the campus for students. The library is enormous. It has many books, not just academic but nonacademic too.

Hostel Facilities

They are two separate hostels one for boys and one for girls. The hostel is very big with big rooms. Each room is shared by 3 students. Hostels have proper hygienic surroundings. Every week cleaning of the building took place for the safety of students. The hostel is very safe. We have 3 gatekeepers at the entrance of the hostel for our safety.

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

VIIT : Not like you expect

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Mostly After 3rd Year Students Apply For Placements Here The Average Package Here Is Good But Percentage Placement On Campus Is Less...Maybe Because A Lot Students Get Off Campus Placements And Many Go For The Further Studies!!!

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. IIT BOMBAY REVIEW

so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
