Discipline and Results were the key factors in making the choice and also the senior junior relations are much deeper in this college as compared to others. Also the score I got in jee wont guarantee me a CS seat at NIT's to I had to look for other options so joined AIT in CSE branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is really out dated, if you really wish to get a good job or inculcate some new skill set you need you put in a lot of efforts on your own. The faculty here really stress on the attendance, so yes it's difficult to bunk classes here even if you want to study something extra. But the seniors are always there to help and push you. In this college seniors are more important than faculty for the juniors. There is not much of an Industrial exposure here. Mechanical stream is not doing well and our college dosent seem to be focusing on that. Most of the results you see online are delivered by the cse, it and entc branch.
Placement Experience
The placement is something that attracts people here. And it is good for the CSE and IT branch but you cant say the same for mechanical brance here. In campus placements go upto 12 or 14 lpa for cse and IT but if you really have worked hard during your graduation and had put in those extra efforts you can bag a good package at big companies likes amazon, Microsoft etc. Through offline mode. Also the alumni network is great here you will always get referals from the seniors if your resume can earn that. Ud chalo is a startup of one of our seniors.
College Events
The cultural and the sports events here are something the students really look forward to, college's from all over Maharashtra participate. Also in sports events cadets from NDA(National defence academy), CME(College of Military Engineering) also participate.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is not great but descent for a college with just 1200 students. the college has almost all the sports facilities available inside campus. Eg : football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, running, squash, badminton, gym.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel life is the best here. Something we will remember for our life. I will for sure encourage students to opt for hostel is possible, its not difficult to get a room in the hostel, you just need to apply for it, the food is not bad either as compared to what I have heard of other colleges. The fees is decent.
