Remarks

Figuring out the best institute for higher studies can be quite a hectic task, but instead on focussing on institute, my criteria was to prioritise the branch. At the time, I felt ECE to be better than ME, as I was not hoping for a decent college for CSE. So, after that I got into this college. This college has it's own perks too, like, it is an institute of national Importance and a premiere engineering college among the top 100 engineering institutes as per NIRF. Electronics and communications engineering is a department that is worth opting when you don't see hopeful options in Computer Science. Being passionate about coding, I chose this branch as it was closest to CSE in many ways.

Course Curriculum Overview

Though the curriculum is good and well planned, but I cant be sure about it's implementation, especially for ECE. Faculty ratio has increased and many of the new faculties are decent, but still there is a long way to go as institute is still working on developing good infrastructure. Academic load in ECE department was quite stable, which helped me explore multiple options and learn new skills.

Coviam, SDE, 25000, Campus Offer after 3 rounds of interview.

Placement Experience

There are ample opportunities for CSE students and others interested in CSE, but core jobs offers in ME and ECE are less due to lack of companies coming in campus for the same. Placement Department works well, but needs to consider inviting core companies for ME and ECE too. Alumni Network is not well in place as of now.

College Events

I had a pretty decent campus life, majorly including technical events and fests. There is Gusto, the sports fest too that is held annually. Although no big names come to promote or attend these fests, but there is always joy of enjoying with friends in such occasions.

Campus Life

Campus has a decent Infrastructure, including well designed labs for academic development and SAC for sports, but there is a still a long way to go to make it xome on par with IITs. The good thing is that there is progress going on in this regards rather quickly.

Hostel Facilities

There is compulsory hostel in the institute. The hostels are well maintained and can accomodate 1 and 3 inmates. There are 4 major hostels, Hall 1 for girls and PG, Hall 3 and 4 for boys. Hall 5 has also come into existance, for Phd and PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

College placement are good as compared to other colleges because in recession time only tit college provides placement for our students so college placement are better but if you are hardworking man or women so your package is better so if you take good package so start hardwork or discipline in college academic. This college average package is also better than other colleges like lnct, oriental because this college average package is something 4 to 5lpa and highest package is something 50 lpa. My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest.
