Remarks

Good college, ranking of the college, placements. It is ranked in top 15 engineering colleges in bangalore. The college has pretty good infrastructure for engineering in bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview

The current course curriculum is good and is pretty much up-to-date. I don't think we have provided good industrial exposure. The faculty in the college are good and well trained educated and they help students through out their graduation.

College Events

In April–May every year JSSATE organizes its intercollegiate Techno-cultural Fest - VERVE which means Energy. It is one of the biggest intercollegiate event held in Bengaluru. It is held for 2 days with several technical and cultural events completely managed by students. The students of the department of Computer Science and Engineering also organize an annual technical fest called Continuum. Started in the year 2004 by the students, it consists of events ranging from paper presentations, mock product launches, talks and technical contests.

Campus Life

The campus is equipped with wi-fi with around 2 mbps for general use and about 300 mbps for official use. The size of the library is good but most of the books are outdated and doesn't fit our current syllabus. The labs are well equipped electronics,instruments and computers in CSE department.

Hostel Facilities

There are two hostels in college, one inside (Girls's Hostel) and another (Boy's Hostel) just outside of the college. The hostels have enough rooms. They have 3 sharing, 2 sharing rooms in hostels which they charge about 80-90,000 for 3 sharing and around 1,20,000 for 2 sharing. The mess in the hostel is not so good, but they have improved in last few years.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided
