Remarks

Nearest University which provides my course which I want to be opt to move forward. The college is good infrastructure and all buses facilities my course is computer science and engineering I opted it because I want to be technology scientists

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was good for the Indian education system but bit lacking behind with all other universities around the world no infustrial exposure was provided the faculties was young like us some are good but some are want bit more training of education I personally don't much like the faculties.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

College Events

Events was good the University earn money with the various events organised they charge money for participation many festival was organised also. Extracurricular activities was there but there was the attendance criteria so you perefer to attend class because if you detained the they thake 10000 per subject in summer classes

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was provided and With the criteria to maintain 7.4 CGPA only Otherwise you removed from the scholarship offered by the University Loan facility was there the transfer you the bank because the get commission in it

Infrastructure was good sports ground was there but no time to Play on them wifi was very slow and limited and all the network was jammed by the University only you call by them internet was very slow 10 to 20 kbps size of library was good books was also available labs equipment was also good but thats was obviously there because they take huge amount of fees of everything.

Hostel Facilities

No I haven't opted for the hostel hostel rooms are the normal room size of the middle class man in which 3 to 4 students live pgs are also very costly around the college s 8 to 9 thousands having 3 to 4 room mates

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Placement Experience:

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
