Maulana Azad College is a prestigious college which provides curriculum for all courses such as Science (for which it is considered most popular to people in terms of quality of education)Commerce and Arts students and that is why I chose it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I took was Bcom Hons in Accountancy and Finance and the curriculum was pretty good and the faculty members were very helpful too. Most of the students used to come from outside Kolkata as Maulana Azad College boasts of a huge name which it has built since its inception.
Internships Opportunities
I have just started an internship program as a content writer for White Panda and it's been 3 weeks since I have been working in the company. My stipend will range from 3k-5k.
Placement Experience
Very few students are chosen to take part in the recruitment process and I was one of them since I performed quite well in my academics in the college and stood first from the Bcom department. I got a job as an associate in Larsen and Toubro Construction company at an annual package of 300000.
College Events
Our College had many cultural fests and technical events were organized and we also used to participated in various competitions and stood first in them. Campus life was absolutely amazing and there was diversity in terms of the Gender, Courses and Religions.
Campus Life
Considering that Maulana Azad College is a government-aided institution, the Infrastructure is quite fantastic and the classes are spacious and the college also boasts of the beautiful scenery of various flowers and trees.
