Remarks

IIAEM - Jain University is one of the most advanced institute for Aerospace Engineering. It has faculties from ISRO, HAL, NAL, DRDO, etc. All faculties are very experienced and have an experience record of atleast 10-15 years to 25-30+ years.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Syllabus for Aerospace in India is overall outdated, regardless of institution. Emphasis is always more on Aeronautical systems then Astronautical systems. I am currently in 2nd year, so not much industrial exposure has been provided.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

I am not a passed out student so can't really answer this fully. There aren't any famous alumni from our department, but there are people like 'K L Rahul', 'Robin Utthapa' who passed out from Jain University. Entrepreneur Cell is there but I haven't been able to take it's advantage yet as I am in 2nd year.

College Events

There are several cultural events happening in the college throughout the year. From Khel Mahakoombh to Karnataka Rajyotsav to Annual Fest named Infinity. The events are usually big and well managed. We even had Sunburn Campus organised last year.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good, but WIFI facility is very costly. They only provide 1 MBPS speed plan with only 10GB data per month. Sports facilities are good. Library is also good and equipments in labs are present.

a good college with good atmosphere and placements

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.
