I chose this college because it is an institute that comes directly under the Central Government, it has a really nice pollution free environment and is far away from the hustling cities, I opted for computer science engineering because I love computers and they are the foundation for technological advancements in the near future.

Our college is equipped with modern technologies and being an engineering institute we get to play along the latest technologies. Our institute has a great environment for innovations and we get a lot of industrial exposures like industrial tours, workshops by Infosys, Adobe, Microsoft are just to name a few. Most of the faculties are great here but one of the best faculty is J.P Singh, Assistant professor in Computer science department, he teaches us Computer Networks and he technically he has the best approach in teaching and is also our Agony Aunt. From solving, academic problems to personal problems, he is always there to help.

Many companies like Code blocks, Infosys, Capgemini, Dell, internshala, Adobe, TCS and many more have visited and not only these companies but defence sectors have also come to our college to avail opportunities in our college.

Our college hosts many festivals for us like Techfest (The annual technical festval), Madhuram(Cultural festival), and it became the first college in Northern India to host Social Fest in 2019. In Techfest, there are tons of small scale to large scale competitions and real life industrial problems with the grand prize of 5 Lakh Rupees. Cultural fests are really amazing and many Punjabi celebrities have also witnessed this amazing festival.

The one who scores higher rank in entrance test gets a great amount of scholarship and those whose family have low income can get an opportunity to avail scholarships. I don't have much knowledge about loans availability.

Our campus has a size of 450 acres of land of which 70% is covered with forest vegetation, there are a number of rare migratory birds in our campus, a huge number of wildlife is there. Great emphasis is also given to sports like, cricket, football, basketball, Kabbadi, swimming, cycling, Taekwondo, Lawn tennis etc. And there are a lot of different musical bands here, and different students run societies like art and designing, robotics, dance clubs etc. The labs are filled with latest machines and equipments for students to use with ease. Every student gets accessed to fast wi-fi which have a daily limit for 500MB for Diploma students, 1GB for Degree students. The library have tons of books and is also connected to a special digital Library which provides us digital books for free.

Our college have 10 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. Our hostel is facilitated to hold 300 students and each room is shared by three students at minimum but sometimes some rooms can be shared by five students. Some hostels have solo rooms for one student each. Every hostel has a mess, a special study room, sports room, an inbuilt badminton court inside the hostel premises. And there is a no ragging policy which is strictly applied by all the students.
