Remarks

IIT is the most top rated institute chain for top education and placements, it is a long held race for the seat in this.Positive remarks is it is an kerala IIT.so it is growing fast.everything is running very fast either construction or infrastructure.In negative points u can say about jobs in civil,mech branch.otherwise not any specified negativities.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is inclusive of everything for my degree. I have to study a lot but also have time to relax. Each semester was divided into three parts with exams held in each part. Besides the main programme subjects i also learnt some additional subjects like language subjects.Exams are different from other courses. No teacher sets the same type of exam paper for their subjects.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 840000 per year

Placement Experience

Students with coding experience do enjoy certain preference when going through placement.The placement drive is tough and very competitive. I haven't yet sat for the placement drive. There are also internships organised for students.

Cultural fest comes in which people are welcomed to show their social skills.Sports facilities are very good.table tennis and tenis are in hostel itself.whenever u want to play go and play there.we have a playground for palying football and cricket.one volleyball court has been made.baseball court construction has almost completed.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is great,Really a view point with a remote area, earlier it was in the institute of ahalia campu, but now it has its own kingdom like structure, we have large acres of land for hostel,canteen, resort like structure

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
