Admin is not good, damn lazy rest students are the real treasure of NSIT.

I applied to CEE which was the entrance conducted to get admission in DCE or NSIT. I did my engineering in Electronics & Communication.

Being a government college the curriculum is quite outdated they must be many more elective subjects that students can choose depending upon the interest.

Samsung, Microsoft, Adobe and many more companies visit campus for internships and avg stipend they offer is atleast 20k but mostly students from computer science and IT field are getting the opportunities.

Placement is quite good companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Future first, Deoloitte, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Samsung etc visited the campus average ctc they offered is 6-7lakhs and highest package domestic go up to 28 lakhs.

Moksha is the biggest fest in NSIT, genrally held in the month of March. It has a budget of40-50 lakhs with different colleges participating in it. Apart from that tech fests like innovision and resonance are organized on a big scale.

Fee structure is feasible at my time bw 2009-13 fee is 25k for a year which is very cheap as compared to private colleges also hostel are provided under 10k for a semester. Being a delhi university College one of the cheapest engineering college.

I never availed any scholarship but there are many depending upon the academic performance semester wise.

Gender ratio is like 90 males against 10 females ragging is never be the part of NSIT, it always be good to have a healthy relationship with seniors there are numerous sports events.

Hostel as mentioned is under the budget but facilities are not so great be it rooms or food hostels are both single or sharing type depending upon the availability.

Alumni of NSIT is widely spread across India in different sectors but still there not any dedicated forum or something to connect all the alumni together.

Exams are always hectic with emphasis mostly on just cramming and not much practical use though labs was chilled out, with most of the apparatus not working mostly.

Some faculty members are really experienced and well known in their field but mostly don't hv any interest in teaching, they are working just like the sarkari babus leveraging the facilities.
