Remarks

One of the string reason is that was an government college and due to the fee concession, other than that, i am not satisfied with the college facilities and faculties, but life is going on its way.It is even a good college in the perspective of fees and fee concession.

Faculties are bad,Have to be self paced for the exam preparation, but ahead of that, the curriculum is based on the syllabus of KTU, its hard over year and year, Industrial exposure is not meant for this college, The mingling with the friendship and getting self paced matters here.

College encourages students to get participated in Placements. They have arranged Placement training Programmes from leading trainers. Students go for interviews while studying their 7th or 8th semester. The are placed on account of their knowledge, and coding skills

College Events

We have societies like IEEE, and NSS,so it has variety of activities and its a great, The college situating on a remote area so transportation is some risky and it's on a hilly area so some natural calamities are there.So cultural activities are hard to implement but its done annually

Fees and Financial Aid

It is based on merit as well as financial situation of the students,My father is a government employee, so I won't get any scholarships. Unfortunately I don't know the names. In case of loans it is not much neccesary as fees are not much expensive and it is affordable.

Campus Life

Hilly area, But it gets okay with the Infrastructure over an year,apart from it the cold breeze over the monsoon is the best time we get here, with good prepration,we will score very good marks in the curriculum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
