Reputation of the HR course is great. Also, apart from the CAT cut offs, HR admissions are based on profiles, most of the students taken are those who have prior industry experience, which helps gain a better understanding of HR as a subject and also facilitates peer learning
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum and pedagogy was excellent. Every subject was thoroughly covered. Testing and evaluation criteria were also based on understanding rather than rote learning. Industrial exposure was also satisfactory with a number of guest lectures, conclaves and Industrial visits
Placement Experience
Placements are amazing, the job profiles are different for students mastering in different subjects. IIM Ranchi has a great number of corporate competitions opening up every year, perhaps more than any other new IIM. The placement committee works in a transparent manner, and many students also get to receive double placements if they have made their mark in corporate competitions.
College Events
The life at the hostel and academic campus has been really good. The number of student bodies like clubs, committees, Special Interest groups and independent bodies give a lot of exposure. The fests of the college invite participation from many b schools.
