Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is made for the students to make them good mathematicians for the future. The academics is very strong with respect to other colleges and the faculties are very helpful and friendly for each and every student.
Placement Experience
Almost all the students of the Master's programme are placed if they are willing to get a corporate job. Most of the students are interested in research and do not go to get a corporate job but those who are willing to do a corporate job get placed in good companies.
College Events
CMI has its college fest (The Tessellate) for 3-4 days. The college also organises a camp for budding mathematicians at the school level as a part of their college fest (The Tessellate) where there are a part of various lectures given by eminent professors of Mathematics all around the country. The social life of the college is very healthy. The students play games in the campus like volleyball, basketball, cricket, football.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can check the Admissions page of the official website of CMI about the availability of scholarships to students. Approximately 30-40 students are waived off their tuition fee and are expected to pay only the mess and accommodation fees of the hostel which is just Rs 25,000 of 1 semester (as of 2020-2021).
Campus Life
We have a library which is open 24*7 for every student with an automatic book vending machine for issuing of books for the students. We have a ground which is used for students to play cricket and football. We also have a volleyball and a basketball court. The social life of the college is very healthy. The students play games in the campus like volleyball, basketball, cricket, football.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is availed by every student of the Bachelor's and the Master's programmes. One room is spacious and is enough for 2 students to share. There is a separate girl's block in the same hostel for their safety. There is free Wifi installed on every floor for the students to avail.
