CMI Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The campus placements are mostly for MS DS students. Most of the students here in undergrad plan to go study further in mathematics, physics or computer science. They either continue and do their masters at CMI or choose to go elsewhere or directly join a PhD programme right after bachelors. I plan to pursue a masters and then a phd after my degree here. But outside CMI because CMI does not offer a physics masters course. Some of the major recruiters here are credit-suisse, Ernst&Young, TRDDC, Adobe, Zen Drive, Teradata, Freshworks. The maximum offer last year was 25.8 lpa and the year before that was 47 lpa. The median package is 18.6 lpa last year and 20.7 lpa the year before. Students here got internships at Morgan-Stanley, SKylark Drones, Intellect Design and many more

This is the best college in India to pursue a degree of Mathematics Honours from.The teachers and seniors are very helpful and masters in their fields of expertise. The ambience and serenity of the campus is the best you can expect as if it suitably fits into the knowledgeable environment. The library is 24×7 open for every student. If you are totally interested in Research Mathematics then Chennai Mathematical Institute is the best place for you.

It's really good and nice but a non social place. One must have a thought about coming here.

I could not find anything negative about this Institute. All the points which I remember about this Institute are positive like students, faculties, academic and non academic staff all are like one single family and lives very friendly with each other.

One of the good remarks is about the management of the Institute. Seriously, the management is very helpful to every student.

I personally could not find any bad remark for this Institute.

The campus location is also good as it is located in the main city near Siruseri, Tamil Nadu.

The college management is superb. The management provides transportation facility, doctor facility, etc. on time.
