CMI Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

The campus placements are mostly for MS DS students. Most of the students here in undergrad plan to go study further in mathematics, physics or computer science. They either continue and do their masters at CMI or choose to go elsewhere or directly join a PhD programme right after bachelors. I plan to pursue a masters and then a phd after my degree here. But outside CMI because CMI does not offer a physics masters course. Some of the major recruiters here are credit-suisse, Ernst&Young, TRDDC, Adobe, Zen Drive, Teradata, Freshworks. The maximum offer last year was 25.8 lpa and the year before that was 47 lpa. The median package is 18.6 lpa last year and 20.7 lpa the year before. Students here got internships at Morgan-Stanley, SKylark Drones, Intellect Design and many more

Almost all the students of the Master's programme are placed if they are willing to get a corporate job. Most of the students are interested in research and do not go to get a corporate job but those who are willing to do a corporate job get placed in good companies.

I have availee one internship and will be availing one more, the internships are mostly reading/research projects while there are people who go for industries as well and get paid handsomely. The placement is also similarly good and the rate of getting it is almost hundred percent.

There is less on-campus placement but the chance is given to all those students who wish to go for on-campus placement. Mainly the students go for higher further studies or research in many research agencies.

There are less placement offers by the private companies as this institute is research-based and the students either go for further studies to the USA, Canada, etc. or they opt for research/higher studies.
